How to spend a day in Chakrata

8 AM

Wake up to some breathtaking views of Uttarakhand Himalayan mountains at The Hosteller Chakrata and grab some breakfast from our in-house cafe and restaurant. You can also enjoy a spot of meditation or yoga in the courtyard.

9 AM

Take a walk around the big hostel, with plenty of hang out spaces and vantage points to enjoy the morning views and take pictures to juice up your social media profiles.

10 AM

Get ready and leave for Tiger Falls, a 50 metre waterfall that is housed within dense forests and shrubbery. Enjoy the natural beauty and take a dip in the wading pool below it.

1 PM

An hour away from the falls is Sadar Bazaar in Chakrata town. Hop over to the famous Chandna’s Food Court and enjoy their steaming momos and spicy rajma chawal for lunch.
