Commune by The Hosteller is an exclusive 3-tier travel membership program valid for one year from the date of purchase.

Based on the membership type, there are different perks, benefits, privileges, etc. under each.

When and how can the members book their pre-curated surprise travel package?

Upon logging in to their account and heading to the profile section, members can choose from a list of travel packages after purchasing a membership. However, anyone who opts in to add a membership while booking a stay at a discounted price will automatically receive their pre-curated surprise travel package against that booking itself.

What do membership coins mean?

One hundred membership coins equal 1 Rs. in real value and can be used to make any future hostel or workation purchases from the website.

Do points expire?

No, they do not. Coins accumulated in your account stay forever unless consumed in any future hostel booking.

When and how can the members avail of affiliate vouchers?

After purchasing a membership, members can log in to their account, head to their profile section and choose from a list of affiliate vouchers.

Can the members share/transfer my reward points and benefits?

No, that's not possible. Reward points will have to be redeemed by the profile they are associated with and are not transferable.

Do members get additional discounts on every future booking?

Yes, members will receive additional discounts on future bookings according to their membership type. The percentage will vary depending on their membership type. It's 5% for an explorer, 10% for a Voyager and 15% for a Wanderer.

What is a travel kit & when/how does a member get it?

Every member gets a hand-crafted and exclusive travel kit from The Hosteller. The members must update their current addresses on their account after membership purchase to receive the travel kit within 30 days of address updation.

Is the membership cancellable once purchased?

No, unfortunately, the membership purchases are non-refundable.

Can the members redeem the accumulated coins for food, activities, or other services?

Members can redeem their accumulated coins exclusively when booking stays at The Hosteller or at BAM Hostels, India's first fully smart hotel and an extension of The Hosteller brand.
