I’m assuming this is your first time visiting Hyderabad’s HITECH City. Maybe you’re here for work. Maybe your travel partner is on a business trip and you’ve tagged along. Or maybe you’re just curious about this buzzing IT hub and decided to explore. Whatever the reason, you’re here now, and this is a quick, simple guide to everything you can do in and around the city.

1. Start your day at Durgam Cheruvu Lake

Right in the heart of HITEC City is a peaceful spot Durgam Cheruvu Lake. You can spend your mornings here for a calm and peaceful start to the day. Walk along the lakeside, try boating, or simply sit on the benches and watch the city slowly come alive.

Shilparamam is a cultural village nestled between office buildings and main roads. It feels like a small window into rural India. Here, you’ll find handmade pottery, paintings, traditional textiles, and weekend live folk performances. You can also pick up cute little souvenirs for home.

If you just want to chill and pass some time, or maybe do a bit of shopping, Sarath City Capital Mall has you covered. With bookstores, cinemas, trampoline parks, gaming zones, and a food court, it won’t disappoint. It’s a great spot to wander around or unwind without feeling rushed.

Zoo? Right in the middle of chaos? Yes, absolutely. Nehru Zoological Park is one of the largest and most well-maintained zoos in India. From lions and chimpanzees to birds and reptiles, it’s refreshing to see them doing their things.
