Dehradun Railway station is the nearest railway station and is at a distance of approximately 35 km from The Hosteller. You can book local cabs to travel to the hostel from there.
Dehradun Parade Graund is the nearest bus station which is approximately 30 km from the hostel and you can get down at the Library bus stand near Mall Road. Due to the infrequent bus service, it is more convenient to travel by local cabs.
Dehradun Airport is the nearest airport and is around 60 km from The Hosteller. You can travel from the airport in local cabs.

Park near Library Chowk (multi-level parking, about 100m downhill). The property is near Mall Road, with entry via the Tibetan Market (100m downhill). Closest parking: Kempty Road, about 600m from the hostel. Safe travels! No 4-wheelers or 2-wheelers (private or yellow plates) are allowed.

We provide lockers in the dormitories only. Every bed has an attached locker for guests to keep their valuables. It is advised that you carry a lock for the locker if needed. It passes all your vibe checks. The location, the views, the aura...all of them. Cool managers make it worth your stay, had a chance to meet Abdullah and he makes your stay a worthy one.
POLICIES
The Hosteller is a chain of backpacker hostels and is well suited for young backpacking travellers. As a brand, we do not recommend families and do not allow all those below 18 years of age to stay with us, nor do we allow admission of kids or infants under 18 years old, even if travelling with legal guardians.
Kindly note that due to water pipeline construction work at Mall Road, all the roads are blocked (from both sides of Library Chowk as well as from picture palace). 4-wheelers and 2-wheelers are not allowed on Mall Road (private and yellow number plate). If guests are coming in their own vehicle they will have to park it near the Library Chowk. There is a multi-level parking and comes downward around 100 Mtr. There is a sign board Padmini Niwas (it's an upward way) using which guests can easily reach TH Mussoorie Mall Road.
Guests with local IDs are allowed in this property.
Visitor (Non-resident guests) timings: 10 AM to 8 PM only. In case the guest wants to meet the visitor, they can do so in our waiting area or common spaces. Note, visitors are not allowed inside any of the rooms, at any time.
Drugs/Substance/Alcohol abuse is STRICTLY prohibited at all our hostels. In case anyone is found possessing or consuming drugs/alcohol during their stay, strict action shall be taken against him/her and the person would be asked to vacate the hostel immediately and would be blacklisted from staying at our hostels forever.
All our hostels have dedicated smoking areas. Smoking inside the dorms is strictly prohibited.
We cannot guarantee accommodation in the same dorm room in the case of 3 or 4 people travelling together. Allocation of a room in a specific private room category may vary depending on availability. That will strictly be subject to availability until the time of check-in.
