We hit the Kasol cafe scene with a hippie spirit, groovy trance music filling the air, a laid-back approach, and an all-around "high on life" vibe. Our criteria were straightforward. We're looking for that quintessential Kasol hippie ambiance, breathtaking views, and affordability whilst weighing in the most crucial factor: excellent food quality.

Following the 2023 floods, parting ways with some of our cherished favorites was disheartening. However, many of them managed to make a graceful comeback, and we are continually eager to discover fresh, promising establishments. Sure, you pop in for the grub, but you also come for the awesome vibes.

The top-notch cafes maintain a laid-back and serene atmosphere even when bustling with patrons, leaving you with an irresistible urge to revisit, whether you're hungry or not. These places stay with you long after your trip, and you can't stop raving about them to your buddies.

One of the oldest and most well-known riverside cafes to go for great meals or even an evening cup of coffee or tea in Kasol is the Evergreen Cafe. It's conveniently located at the beginning of Kasol's market, so you will get it as you enter town. The vibe here is lively, with groovy tunes and funky decor that perfectly match the scene. Plus, you have the choice of sitting indoors or enjoying the outdoors. You've got to check out this place for its fantastic vibes, hearty portions, and incredible mountain views. We can't recommend the Israeli platter enough!

Although this one is a little more expensive, the experience is worth it. The trance-like atmosphere here nicely complements its hazy vibe. A great spot to sample different teas and pastries!

The steak, Israeli, and Mexican cuisines are truly worth sampling. Surprisingly, this place has fewer reviews! Nevertheless, it remains a solid dining choice in Kasol.
