Near Kasar Devi and surrounded by the Kumaoni hills is the famous Binsar Wildlife Sanctuary. It is home to a wide variety of plants, trees, wildlife and birds. Undoubtedly rich in its flora and fauna, Binsar Wildlife Sanctuary boasts of hosting more than 180 species of birds and animals like Forktail, Nuthatches, Parakeets, Eurasian jays, Himalayan goral, Chital, Sumatran Serow, Pine marten, Grey langur, Rhesus macaque and many more.
