The closest major station is Joginder Nagar railway station (JDNX) in Himachal Pradesh. You can hire a taxi from Joginder Nagar railway station to Jibhi, which takes around 3-4 hours. Alternatively, you can take a bus from Joginder Nagar to Jibhi. Buses may not run directly to Jibhi, so you might need to transfer at a nearby town like Aut or Mandi. From there, take a local bus or taxi to Jibhi.
The closest airport to Jibhi is Kullu-Manali airport (IATA: KUU), also known as Bhuntar airport. It is approximately 50-60 kilometres from Jibhi and takes around 2 hours by road. From the airport, you can hire a taxi or take a bus to reach Jibhi.
Buses to Jibhi are easily available from Manali, Mandi, Kullu etc. The journey from Manali to Jibhi takes approximately 2-3 hours.

No. Dormitories are primarily designed for resting, so seating is generally located in our spacious common areas. Our shared lounges and cafes are fully equipped with comfortable seating, perfect for socializing, relaxing, or getting some work done.

Yes! We have a cozy mini library space featuring a diverse collection of books spanning various genres. It’s the perfect quiet corner to unwind, grab a read, or even participate in a book exchange with fellow Travellers.

Yes, we love furry friends! However, to ensure the comfort, safety, and hygiene of all our Travellers, pets are permitted in Private Rooms only. Pets are strictly not allowed inside shared dormitories under any circumstances.
Is smoking allowed inside the property?
Smoking is allowed only in the designated smoking areas and not in any rooms or indoor common areas.
Is an alcohol policy in place?
Yes. The consumption of alcohol is strictly prohibited across the hostel premises, where we don't serve liquor . Any violation will result in a ₹2000/- rupee fine or immediate eviction without a refund and permanent blacklisting from all our properties.
POLICIES
The Hosteller is a chain of backpacker hostels and is well suited for young backpacking travellers. As a brand, we do not recommend families and do not allow all those below 18 years of age to stay with us, nor do we allow admission of kids or infants under 18 years old, even if travelling with legal guardians.
Outside food is strictly prohibited inside the hostel.
Possession, consumption, or distribution of illegal drugs and narcotic substances is strictly prohibited across all properties. Alcohol consumption is prohibited, while smoking is permitted only in designated smoking areas within the premises. Violation of any of the above policies may attract a penalty of ₹2,000 per incident, and repeated violations, misconduct, or non-compliance may result in immediate termination of stay without any refund.
For non-refundable reservations, modification requests (not cancellations) can be considered only if received within 60 minutes of the original booking time. Unfortunately, requests made after this timeframe cannot be accepted.
In case anyone is traveling in a group of 2+ more people, we do not guarantee the accommodation arrangement for all the guests in the same dorm room. Allocation of rooms happens in an automated manner subject to availability at the time, varied floor arrangements, etc.
Early check-in or late check-out is subject to availability and at the discretion of the management.
All guests are mandatorily required to do a pre-arrival contactless check-in via the Glu app (link of which is shared with each guest immediately post booking via Whatsapp). Additionally, it is mandatory for every guest to present a GoI (Government of India) approved photo ID at the time of check-in (valid IDs being passport, aadhar, driving license or a voter ID). For foreigners, it is mandatory to present their passport and a valid visa (in originals) during the time of check-in. All Pakistani guests staying at any of our hostels must carry and present an additional residence permit letter from the Indian High Commission in Islamabad along with the passport and valid visa at the time of their check-in. PAN card or a student id card, etc. shall not be accepted as valid ID cards.
100% prepayment is mandatory at our hostels on or prior to check-in to ensure guaranteed booking.
In case the guest wants to meet the visitor, they can do so in our waiting area or common spaces. Note, visitors are not allowed inside any of the rooms, at any time.
Any form of misconduct including harassment, abuse, intimidation, vandalism, theft, tresspassing, or behaviour disruptive to the safety or comfort of other guests, fellow travellers, whether male or female, will result in immediate termination of stay. In such cases, the guest shall be asked to vacate the premises immediately without refund for the unused portion of the stay.
Only female guests are permitted to check into the female dorm. If a male guest books this room type, check-in will be denied as per policy. Modifications to the booking are allowed only within 60 minutes of reservation. No refund will be issued if the booking falls outside the cancellation policy period.
The Hosteller Jibhi is pet friendly. We permit pets only for private room guests and not dorm bookers. Pets are strictly not allowed in the dorms. Any damages, in case, incurred during the stay shall be attributable to the pet owners.
The Hosteller reserves the right to admission based on the discretion of the management.
