All of these cities are well linked to Gokarna by KSRTC buses and other private bus operators.
If you are coming to Gokarna via railways then the nearest railway station is located in Ankola which is about 20 km away from the main Gokarna area. You can take a taxi or a bus to reach your destination from outside the railway station.
Nearest airport to Gokarna is Dabolim airport in Goa. Dabolim airport is well-connected with all the major cities of India and as well as from a few foreign countries. From Dabolim, you can take a taxi, bus or a train to Gokarna. Although, travelling by road is suggested.

Are there lockers in the dorms?
We provide lockers in the dormitories only. Every bed has an attached locker for guests to keep their valuables. It is advised that you carry a lock for the locker if needed. However, availing a padlock from the reception will be subject to availability and at an additional cost. It is advised that you carry a lock.

POLICIES
The Hosteller is a chain of backpacker hostels and is well suited for young backpacking travellers. As a brand, we do not recommend families and do not allow all those below 18 years of age to stay with us, nor do we allow admission of kids or infants under 18 years old, even if travelling with legal guardians.
Guests with local IDs are allowed in the property.
Visitor (Non-resident guests) timings: 10 AM to 8 PM only. In case the guest wants to meet the visitor, they can do so in our waiting area or common spaces. Note, visitors are not allowed inside any of the rooms, at any time.
Drugs/Substance/Alcohol abuse is STRICTLY prohibited at all our hostels. In case anyone is found possessing or consuming drugs/alcohol during their stay, strict action shall be taken against him/her and the person would be asked to vacate the hostel immediately and would be blacklisted from staying at our hostels forever.
All our hostels have dedicated smoking areas. Smoking inside the dorms is strictly prohibited.
We cannot guarantee accommodation in the same dorm room in the case of 3 or 4 people travelling together. Allocation of a room in a specific private room category may vary depending on availability. That will strictly be subject to availability until the time of check-in.
The Hosteller's Unbox Cafe serves vegetarian options. To maintain the backpacking culture and community spirit we promote self service in all our cafes.
